2004 F-150 Crew Cab Rear Door locks
Hey Guys,
On our 2004 F-150 Lariat Crew cab we've noticed the rear door locks don't unlock when the driver or passenger opens their front door after driving the truck. The truck is equipped with the auto locking doors.
The rear door locks work properly when we use the key fob to unlock them. However after we go for a drive with passengers in the backseat and they try to open their door before the driver unlocks all the doors the rear door locks won't unlock. We tried to pull up on the lock plunger to unlock the door without luck. It happens on both rear doors. If the inside door handle isn't grabbed before the driver opens their door the rear door unlocks properly. We try to lock and unlock the truck with the key fob, but the rear door doesn't unlock if the handle was grabbed by a passenger before the driver opens their door. It seems like there is a switch somewhere that may not be working properly after the rear door handle is pulled.
Has anyone seen this before?
Thank you!

Same thing happens to my rear doors (2004 FX4 SCrew). Tried messing with the child safety lock feature without any results.
