Got Rear Ended

FML
Spent the weekend detailing the truck and replaced the FPCM yesterday.. dump truck pulled out in front of me and I had to slow WAY down from 30-35 mph. I guess the lady that hit me didn't see me or just ran out of room.

Damn sorry to hear man. Any frame damage? Doesn't look as bad as I was expecting (not that it's good).

That sucks. Probably be around $2000 to fix it too... Time for a new rollpan and tailgate. You should have the shop shave the emblems!

well so far were at $4000. but the bed gaps are good so the frame damage is minimal. gonna have the f150 emblem shaved for an extra $100. leaving the ford emblem tho.

My guess is, the other driver was blinded by the sparkle of your freshly detailed truck and couldn't see well enough to notice you were slowing. Just shows how no good deed (giving love to your truck), goes unpunished.

Glad you're not hurt and hope you can get your truck repaired so that you will feel good about it again.

That did take a long time! Looks good -- next time you can shave the oval and be finished! What did you get for a rental vehicle?

Rear end looks good, brahhhhhhh. I remember your truck from way back when. You were always working on it. Do you still have the tiny mirrors and tiny logo up front?
