I have heard good things about the Rough Country lifts. I am giving serious consideration into the RC 4" lift. (Only 4" left on the market now that Rancho quit making them for the '04-'08 and I don't need 6" lift especially with a 5' tall wife...). The RC shocks might not be so great, but at the cost of the lift, you should be able to manage upgrading the shocks.

And to post a pic you have the image hosted elsewhere, copy the URL to the image to your clipboard, click the image icon in the post editor, and paste the URL.

I have a 6" Rough Country and i love it. I'll agree that the rear shocks that come with the lift are trash. within 4 months of putting the lift on, one of the rear shocks blew. I replaced them with Bilstein 5125's. I recommend scrapping the 6" strut spacer and getting a set of 6" bilstein 5100 struts and some uniball upper A arms if you have the coin. Only thing i don't like about the lift is the fact that the brackets only measure 5" (unlike other lifts that measure a full 6") so you can't add a level kit in the future for more lift.

I've got the 6" Rough Country on my 06. Probably best bang for your buck lift. I installed it over the weekend in my driveway back in August of 2011. Not too bad if you have some common sense. Like 97 said, replace the coil spacer with a set of the Bilstein 5100's. Only issue I have had are the tires rub a little at full lock. The ball joints and tie rod ends are worn out, so I'm getting ready to replace those. I think I have some pics in my gallery. If not I'll get some posted.

as previously stated, with the RC lift you can't go any higher in the future because of the drop brackets. that was a deal breaker for me. thats why im giving in to spending the extra $$$ on a fabtech. not saying im going higher than 6" anytime soon but i would like having the option...
