Stunning! Still one of best trucks I've seen. You have just the right amount of chrome on your truck! Are those Mark LT door handles and tailgate handle? If so, is the swap easy to do?

Just throwing my experience in, taking the door handles on and off isn't bad at all. You do need to be careful with the driver door because of the rod connecting to the lock cylinder (I bent the rod, snapped the clip holder, damage the back of the cylinder, etc ), but otherwise it's easy.

Sanding textured handles smooth in prep for paint takes 10 times more than painting or re-installing handles.

Thanks for the compliment! I feel it is a well balance also. I wanted black out, but with accenting.

Those handles are actually my original ones. My truck was a Lariat Chrome package truck, came with textured handles but chrome pulls. I just sanded them smooth and had them painted, masked my handles off. The job of the swap itself isn't bad as Kmac said, it is tedious, but manageable. Some patience and mildly thin hands work fine with the process.

Thanks for the advice! I'm contemplating on whether to paint my texture ones all black or get Mark LT ones. I know you can get cheap "replacement" ones on line and just paint those.

Thanks for responding. I definitely need to make a decision on those. I found some IPCW with the led's in them that are already painted for cheap.

It really just depends on how much you value your time. I'm 20, so my time ain't worth a whole lot, and sanding was so much of a PITA that I possibly would get already-smooth ones if I could go back. It also depends on how smooth you want/need them. I wanted them to look as close to factory as possible, with absolutely no texture, so that required 2-3 of sanding for each handle.

I think the Mark LTs look nice on black and white trucks.

x2. I put the time into sanding mine smooth. Saved money on the prep and they were pretty much prime & paint ready. I also was assured the texture was 100% gone doing it this way. With my old truck I let them do the prep sanding, cost me $40 more and the edges still were textured and some areas did not have enough attention. Do it yourself to help make sure it gets done right and smoothly. I only wish I had the supplies and know-how to do the painting myself.
