My "new" 07 lariat!

Finally I own a truck! I've wanted an f150 for a long time and just waited for the right deal to come around.

07 Lariat fully loaded. Even has a tonneau cover. Im still not sure if I want to take it off or leave it on yet. Black leather interior. 6.5' box. She just fits into the underground too.

I have no idea where to start for mods. Was thinking of getting a harley exhaust, or cai first... or both!

Nice truck!
Best bang for your buck is a custom tune from one of the many reputable tuners on this site.
Avoid CAI they will make you truck run lean unless you get a custom tune. If you wanna help you intake look into the gotts mod..
For exhaust look in the exhaust section. I have the Harley style exit on my truck with a Borla xr-1 muffler. I love it.

x2 on that! ^^^

Nice truck man. Supercrew 6'5 I like it a lot.

Might I suggest a nice set of chrome 20" wheels ( Moto Metal 951 for example ) on some 33" M/Ts ( Toyo/Nitto ) on a 2" level. Clean, tasteful, and classy.

Also, I am all about paint matching. All the textured plastics aside of rear bumper pad and wiper cowl.

Glossy B-pillar covers from eBay also to rid that ugly matte panel between the door glass.

Look up member Lifted5.4Lariat for some inspiration. He has done his truck up very elegant.

Interior doesn't need a thing to make it better.

Research CAI further, check this out:

I talked to some people here who have CAI on their Ford and never heard complain so far. I'm still learning about exhaust too and thought to share this good read for comparison:

That's a beaut! I picked up one almost identical back in June. Look into the gotts mod. I did it to mine and added a k&n drop in filter. Also added an exhaust and custom tunes from power hungry performance. Those additions really added some life to the truck.

Nice Lariat!
I have a Rousch's CAI so far so good, no issue whatsoever. Not all CAI are the same, make sure you buy a reputable brand.

My favorite with CAI is it clean up the engine bay, you will have more access area to work on.

No argument over having more access in the engine bay, but I can't recall ever needing to access much of anything there. I suppose changing the bulb in the headlight might be easier, but it's not exactly a high-maintenance item.

3 bolts and the headlight pops out. Don't think you can access the bulb from the back because of the radiator support.
