I have installed a set of spots and a set of flood cree lights into the fog light housing of my 2005 FX4 Screw.
I also did the led light strip turn signals.
In the process of a retrofit as well... FX-R's coming soon!
New: I screwed up the shrouds... couldn't get them to fit right and ground a bit too much. Just reordered another set so I guess I'll try it again. Any tips?

Where do they need trimming at? I attempted to follow the how-to on f150forum, but still couldnt get them right. Ended up cutting too much and screwing it all up. I found some cheap apollo's and orbits that I also bought. So I'll see which fits the best, gatling, orbit, or apollo (i like gatling the best but need to figure out the trimming)
Good retro's! I'm also digging the cubes in the fogs.
Those gatlings are a bit if a pain to get to fit right. I wanted mine to be straight up, but I found the best fit like yours.
I would vote for the ptm body color. The only reason I didn't ptm anything on mine was for them to eventually go to my brother hd. On my next set I will for sure.
Maybe even ptm the signal bucket as well.

Well, I will take my time when I get the new shrouds. Like I said, I bought a set of orbits and a set of apollo's so I can have some options.
I think most of the trimming has to occur on the bottom of the shroud/projector (where the solenoid is and the 2 wires come out).
I am going on a cruise on monday, so work will resume on Saturday.
In other news, we bought a new f150 today... at 1997 stepside!

Just got back from vacation, and work resumed.
Ended up screwing up the gatling shrouds too much and went with the Apollo 1's (lower profile). The apollos required no modification to get the glass on.
I have glued, baked, and clamped one. One more to go!
Help: how long should i leave the clamps on for?
