Swapping out the rear seat in an '06 F-150 SCab

The top part was no problem, but the seat cushion is a real bear. Do I have to remove that whole stinking bar assembly behind the seat, or is there a way to remove both sides of the seat from where it anchors to the floor where the cushion splits?

Thanks in advance for any help.

You can pull the side bolts and pry the cushions up and out, but it is easier to just remove the whole thing as one complete unit.
