Challenge for you!

I recently had a rear pinion seal replaced along with rear end bearings. Just days after the repairs, several things happened all at once. The brake & ABS warning lights came on, automatic door locking quit working, back up lights no longer work, A/C compressor no longer works, sometimes the clock will reset, sometimes the radio presets are cleared, back up warning sensors no longer work...I think that's it.

My guess is that all of this happening immediately following a repair is coincidental; perhaps a computer board or something? HELP!

Thanks in advance!

How old is your battery? Maybe have it load tested at your local auto parts store.

Checked all battery connections...that wasn't it. Any other suggestions?

Did you have your battery load tested?

It might be a coincidence... but it might've happened when you had the work done.

Not saying the shop did it on purpose to get you back... but when they were working on it, the vibration from hammering or impact drivers can do crazy stuff on old stuff.

The 06 went from perfect to next time started-- tach and speedo bouncing, other gauges pegged ,headlites not working , that's what I caught. It was the battery. The truck started fine. turned it off , restarted fine , same problem. New battery no problems. Not saying that's your problem but was mine
