Hey guys...so my kid slammed the door yesterday and the darn door in back of the passenger side is now stuck. It won't open. I have a 2004 XL Triton with the cab door, not the full size door.

So I manged to take off the handle and saw that the plastic that puts tension on the cable to open the rear upper door latch deteriorated off...litterally. So now I gotta use a plier to pull down on the cable to open the door.

So I looked online and saw that the I need to get the whole upper rear door latch with cable kit. I'm not to sure that this is the part for my 04 truck, cause when I hit "if it's compatible" with my 04 F150 XL Triton...it says that it isn't. I got the part number 6L3Z-18264A27-A, but it doesn't look right.. Can someone help

 

Just call Tasca Ford Parts, and tell them your VIN# and what you are looking for.

I'm sure this isn't the first time.
