Oops ... fergot - OP - Sir Lariat gave yall good advice. Save ye a pile o' Ca-ching too! Articles fer the Gotts Mods are in the How-To section.

Good luck!

I like that you call them stupidphones since that's really what they are...

And to OP...i forgot to mention the GOTTS mod is a lot cheaper.

Those 4 companies I listed specialize in f150s so it will be good.
This is also a good safe option, its just going to cost you more money in the long run. still have the chance of fouling out your MAF sensor tho. But then you could do what I did and replace the filter with a dry element Amsoil filter

My smartphone is from 2011 and I never have any of those odd postings. Over-check everything before I make a ridiculous sounding post too . Apparently a phone from 2011 is like owning a car new from 2000, pretty old. I'm content

If I remember correctly, hit the back screen till you get to the very first page of the app. Should be a settings icon there. There is an option within the settings to turn it on/off.

As far as intakes go, I would run an aftermarket CAI if I could swap my OEM one straight up, or do a straight swap with some cash. I would do it for the sound increase because 3 more horses is not going to be noticeable in 5500lbs. Till then my OEM intake is just fine with the Amsoil filter.

Are you using the phone app for this forum or the regular mobile mode? I hate both and strictly use the 'view full site' mode. I don't want a 'mobile' version of the way the webpage is displayed but that's just my preference.

There are 2 apps - the "official" IB app that works with all IB forums, and the 3rd party F150online app.

When on the go I use the IB app. unless the pictures don't work then I use the mobile site.
Then once I'm home I'll usually use my computer.

I've had my k&n intake on 2 different 4.2l f150s with no problems. My 04 had it for about 20k and my 08 since about 2k and I'm at almost 89k now with no problems still.

Ah. I see
I would still clean it every once and awhile just to be safe.
