Also, went for a nice cruise to the hills. We've had over 9 inches of rain in just under 3 days last week. Had to check out some areas we go quadding at.

And just recently found this picture the day I brought the truck home.

Sure has came a long way.
Looking good! What did you use to paint tge calipers?

Have noticed a slight power loss under acceleration lately. Heading back into town last night, I noticed every slight hill on the highway that my dash lights would dim. Damn alternator(just over a weekish old) was only charging 12.1 volts. Hooked it up to our alternator tester at work. 40 amps at idle and drops off at any rpm over idle. So today I changed it out under warranty.

We'll see if this helps.

First attempt was a champion reman. Only one I could find when it cut out on the highway 4 hours from home. Second is a Delco. Probably not the best, but I've had good luck with Delco in the past. So far appears to be staying between 13.6-14.1v while driving.

Cleared the low power problem as well.

Yeah, people on here rip on the big parts brands over OEM too much IMO. AC Delco, Bosche, etc. do make good stuff. I like MC stuff when possible, but it's a lot more expensive and isn't always better.

I know what you mean. Unless I have a run of bad luck with any certain brand, I'll run with it.

Sounds pretty decent. What is your exhaust system?

You brave, brave man! It sounds good.

I want to stand under a bridge and hear someone gun my truck through it to hear how loud it is. I always hear cars that sound real good and loud do that. It's enough to get me to snap my neck around, so I wonder if mine is loud enough for that.

I usually just drop the windows and pin it. Not quite as good as just standing there though. I may have to get her to rip through one soon.

Llama, you won't be disappointed.

Haven't had much to update lately. Cleaned it, that's about it basically. May have a few things in the works. Will find out in the next few days.

I would like to say that I love the no cats. Unloaded, love it, but when I hook up to my 20' enclosed trailer, with two quads, it really barks. Which is nice, but over the course of the hour and a half drive it gets a bit tiring. But that could be the half ton truck as well. I don't notice the tailer with my dads 08 f250 with the Dpf delete and h and s tuner. I guess I'm comparing apples to oranges.
