Were you able to find this one, greentitan? It's actually the one I used when I did the Gotts mod, but couldn't find it to recommend to you (though I didn't look very hard lol). It's the most comprehensive and detailed write-up on how to do it. *I believe I followed it exactly, except you need a 4" clamp instead of a 3."* The 3" wouldn't fit for me, and if it had, it would've only had one or two "teeth" used. The 4" is not at all too big and allows you to get a great, snug fit. The PVC and clamp can be painted black. My paint has held up pretty good for the couple months it's been on there. It doesn't stand out under the hood either, which I like.

I used a metal grinding wheel instead of the mouse sander (which I had and forgot about until I found it later) so the beveling of the pipe can be done with anything. And could be done my hand if you did it while watching TV for a while or something, though it would take a LONG time.

And so its not really worth it to lift my 2wd then? Just do everything else I want to do to it and then later on when I need a new truck get a 4x4? And are those pictures of a 2wd or 4wd?
