Well....., the story behind the story is that I thought I had a better modified transmission that would handle the modifications but as always, I was wrong.
Stock trans went out after having the engine blue printed in 2009. The fellow at performance associates who blueprinted the engine sub the trans to some fellow who supposedly rebuilds trans for F-150 trophy trucks. Soon as I got the truck back and drove it home something snapped as I accelerated when the light turned green right before I got home. Had it towed back to the shop. It was concluded that for some reason or another transmission did not performed as expected. Same fellow took trans apart and found weak link which he fixed; mind you, I haven't had sas as of yet, I was running riz industries at the time. Truck seemed to be fine for like 4 months until I broke my IFS and took it in to have the sas done. A year later after the sas was completed, I started noticing a hard shifting on take offs. I took the truck back to performance associated to have it re-tuned but the fellow was in the process of relocating his shop. I continued to drive the truck but the hard shifting became worst and worst. Desperate, I went to a transmission shop who recommended I install their "bullet proof", 3 year warranty Jasper's transmission. Transmission #4 goes in but I didn't dyno tune it. Two months later, I was back at the shop to have trans 5 installed. As soon as I got the truck back I had another shop, Superior automotive, dyno tune it. Everything seemed to be running smoothly........for about 6 months. So, here I am
So were any of the "warranties" honored, or no? I assume not because you went to different shops, but jeez! You've got to be above $15k into trannies alone!

Two I purchased and 2 were honored under warranty. I'm about 7k down the sewer and.....yeah......by the time I get the ("hopefully") final one done I'll be about 15k in transmissions alone. This time I'll make sure I have the best of the best built; kind of how I've gone through with my suspension and headers.

Dunno yet still siting at off road evolution, I'm having all the custom work they did checked and re-torqued; spare tires are new so they are being installed in the front and I'm purchasing 2 semi used tires for the rear; front and rear ends are being cleaned and refilled with fresh gear oil; steering was a lil stiff, concluded that the steering pump is going out, got a new one to be installed before it gets towed away to San Dimas California.
Maybe Monday but Tuesday I should have a clear picture of how much the hard working American tax payer will have to come up with to provide me with the necessary amount of food stamps to pay for the damage and an ET to have him back on the trails.

I hope so too bud; I'm shooting to have an Atlas transfer case installed this time around.

Six months in the transmission shop a bullet proof 4R100 F-250 diesel transmission was built and installed in my 2008 F-150.
Truck gets towed to Off Road evolution in March 2014 and spends another 8 months to have a 2 speed Atlas transfer case built and installed, shorter rear drive shaft and a longer front drive shaft due to the bigger transmission. Also a new transmission support was built.
In November of 2014 truck gets towed to Superior automotive to have a the transmission's computer installed, programmed and dyno tuned. February 2015 the fellow who said it would be a piece of cake programming the computer, synchronize and return my truck in working conditions called to inform me that he was lost for words and could not figure out how to install the transmission's new computer. He recommended Brauns Automotive to take on the ultimate task. Four months later after ever nut and both was check on the truck I finally got my truck back in excellent working conditions. Now, please don't ask me how much all this cost me cause I'm not gonna tell you that a ran a 30k + bill.
