The hardest thing to find is gonna be the white letters. Only a couple brands (Michelin, Pirelli, Goodyear are all that come to mind) have white letters available in a 20" wheel size. Mostly 275/55R20. As mentioned before, 285/50R20 and 305/50R20 are also good options, but good luck finding any with white letters. For real low-pro look, you might look into 275/45R20, but once again, good luck finding white letters.

275/55/20 measures out to right about 32" and is stock on all 20" GMs. They're on my mom's 2011 Yukon and nothing about them says offroad. I think a truck needs some beef to the tire, especially with a 20" wheel. The fatter the tire, the more protection for the wheel as well. I really would go with 275/55/20, maybe a 275/50/20 if you want a bit slimmer look but still not too thin. Go with a 305 and it will cost a bit more and is pretty wide for an 8.5" wheel IMO when going with a lower profile tire. My truck had 305/40/22's on it when I bought it and I really liked the wider stance that it had and there was a decent amount of tire, but 22's aren't really my thing haha

Also, just as a heads up, in order to properly paint on top of chrome, all of the chrome must be completely stripped off via sandblasting, acid dip/strip or something similar that will completely remove it. If painting is definitely something you'd do with those wheels, I'd try to look for some that aren't chrome. I think those wheels would look good on your truck just the way they are though.

Those markers are like crayons but instead of wax they are made with paint. They are made for touching up white letters or white walls that have been curb checked. They are not for making black letters white. At least that's the only kind of marker I've seen in the past.

I'd run white letters out if I was getting a sponsor check . Until that time comes its black walls for me. If a tire only comes with white letters I turn them in and usually hit them with some black tire paint.
