Intake Pulling Trash

Does anyone else's intake pull a lot of leaves and pine needles in to the air box? Is this due to the GOTTs mod? Every time I clean the filter, there is a bunch of trash in there. Any one else experience this?

A ton of leaves will get pulled into the space inbetween the inner fender skin and the engine compartment wall. You're pulling them in because your gotts mod PVC is not going far enough into the wall. The stock intake goes past the compartment wall, then past the inner fender wall; so it sits in between the inner and outer fender, where there are no leaves. Your PVC is ending between the compartment wall and the inner fender, where all the leaves are.

What Kmac said. I used spectre tubing so I was able to keep the rubber coupler it comes with to hold in place at the fender and extend the tubing material the necessary to match the oem snout
