Easy question is this safe 5.5 pro comp blocks stacked on top of stock blocks

It should only be for 2 or 3 months till I can get some custom springs made

Another question is only 2 5/8" inches of the drive shaft sticking into the end of the transfer case safe? Probably not huh guess im gonna have to bring it somewhere and get the drive shaft lenghtend from my measurements it need to be another 2 5/8" longer.
Any thoughts on any of this?

 

Not on my truck, no way!

I'ld want more in mine, 2-5/8" is gonna amplify any clearance between splines and let the yoke wobble and
swing the shaft more like a jump rope which will destroy rear tailshaft bushing and seal and at speed, can lead to
'rude events'.

NO 5.5" blocks by themselves are scary as it is. Add a lift shackle, or run it with the rear sagging until you can get new leafs would be my advice. That's just asking for trouble.

 

Just lower it and be done

But seriously, I'd pass on stacking 2+5 as well

Thanks for the advise the trucks just been sitting in the driveway since I installed the blocks I was a little nervous so wanted to get some advice. Thanks for the info everyone. I guess i have to take them out even tho the truck does sit perfect how it is now. 47" from ground to top of fender. I guess ill just have to drop the front for a bit

Yeah .... it won't hurt a bit!

 

Lowering the front seems like a bit overkill, especially if you have already had the truck aligned. Lift shackles can get you 1.5" I believe. What is 1 inch lower in the rear going to hurt as far as being temporary?

 

Look into getting the Fabtech driveshaft spacer...the cheapest insurance you're going to find for your truck after lifting. Was about a 25min install.
