So I wanna know if I can add a leaf on top of a 5.5 inch block just to get another 2 inches. I know people add a leaf on top of the 3 inch blocks.

This picture is with the stock 3 inch block that came with the kit. There's a 4" difference from the front to the back. The 5.5" blocks (I just got today and havent installed yet) will only lift it another 2.5".

Can I do it? Will I need to worry about the drive shaft if I can do it?

 

 

What point are you measuring from and how much lift is in the front? If your using the stage II kit bumped up to 8" which I'm kinda assuming then a 5.5" block should put you pretty much level since generally the front is 2.5" lower.

 

measurments were taken to top of fender from the center of hub or the ground both were the same it was on level ground at the time of measuring. the coils are right out of the box i havent changed them a bit they arnt cranked up all the way i could get another inch out of them. i will get the blocks installed and go from there. the bottom of front fender to ground is 48" the rear is 44". Id rather not lower the front to meet the rear but bring the rear to meet the front

 

Look into lift shackles, around 50 on eBay.
