rear view mirror

2006 F150 with "self dimming" rear view mirror
ARE the sensors in the mirror to be positioned at the top or the bottom to funtion properly? I'm assuming that the mirror can be rotated that much.

What? The sensors on the "mirror-side" should be at the bottom. I don't think you want to rotate the mirror 180-degrees.
