05 fx4. Locking diff? (stupid question)
My brother just bought a 05 fx4. I was under the impression that all the fx4s had the locking diffs? Is that true? If so where is the switch? And i did do a search.

No, only the 09 up can have the locking diff. And it may not even be a limited slip. Look at the door code for the axle. If it is 2 numbers, it is an open diff. If a letter and a number, it is a LS.
