Replace Power Steering Return Hose

Hey all,

i have a leaking power steering return hose. it isn't bad, but annoying. A couple years ago the dealership replaced a chunk of hose and it has been noisy as hell when its hot outside ever since.

i identified the part as 3A713A "gear to cooler" return hose.

Forgive me for a possible set of dumb questions, but aside from changing my oil and general maintenance i have not done this kind of repair before. so...I assume the entire system would drain by default when i take the hose off, and i also assume this is ATF and not PS fluid??

is there a special process to refill the system? or will it work the air out on its own?

this seems straight forward, and i will be ordering the hose next...

pics of the issue:

you can see the wet frame, i already wiped off the upper hose
