5.4 3v injector tick/knock noise

If your hearing a ticking/knocking noise around 900 rpms then you might have dirty injectors. Went to the local auto parts store and picked up a stethoscope to listen to the exhaust and motor. Couldn't find the noise then I bumped the fuel rail and what do you know... There it was. So then I picked up some b12 fuel injector/carb cleaner. Ran it through the brake booster line and added some to the fuel tank. Well I done this the day before my truck went into the body shop for the hail repairs. Well it's been two weeks and got it back yesterday, whatever was in the injectors making it clog or stick is now gone. Plus it took care of a miss I had.

It's your vacuum line connected to your brake booster.

I would love to see a pic of this as well. My truck makes that same exact noise and I would love to get rid of it. Do you just remove the vacuum line and put it in the bottle? Forgive me if this is a stupid question but how does the cleaner get to your injectors from a brake booster line? I am willing to try anything to get rid of that noise however.

It's how you SeaFoam your truck guys.....

Video explains it thoroughly.
I SeaFoam my truck after every oil change and sometimes just randomly every other month, and everytime I do it, the damn thing smokes the neighborhood from being so dirty.

OP, glad this issue is taken care of for you. I was afraid it was the All-Mighty "CAM PHASERS" going out that all the 5.4 3V guys dread...

I change my oil every 3000 miles. My motor oil doesn't even get a chance to break down
