Never thought about that, I like the way you think wolverine lol. I wonder if that would even them out, now you have me thinking.

I'm pretty sure something like pocket flares would meet up to the crease on the fenders and hide it

I wonder what the parts list would be to do a conversion like that? If anyone knows, could you share? Thanks.

Yes if anyone could help us out with this, that would be great. I would imagine brackets and the small stuff would have to be found at the dealership, tasca. All the big stuff can be found on here, CL, EBay.

Does anyone know if the dash from an 09+ would fit in a 04-08 truck. I have been contemplating a new truck but prices are ridiculous for what I want. Plus I have put so much suspension and drive line work to mine that it would be hard to get rid of. In an ideal world, I would love to swap dash, seats and also swap the 5.4 and 4spd for a 5.0 and 6 speed.
I know the door panels wouldn't fit for sure as the new f-150's have bigger front doors by about 6 inches but I dont see why the dash and seats couldn't be swapped out.

Any help would be appreciated.

Would like to know this aswell. I should of named this thread how much of a 04-08 can be converted into a 09+. I'm in the same boat as you, for what I want I'm around 50k. Cheaper for me to just do some conversions. Anybody willing to do some simple measurements of their 09+ dash?

The cab design itself is exactly the same from what I can tell with exceptions of the length as Ford opted for a larger cab. They added the length in the front doors and thats it. Otherwise the cab is the same. The hardest part that I can see is all the wiring as a person would have rip everything out and basically buy a totaled off truck as a donor and swap everything one at a time. I would like to hear from someone who has attempted this to know the challenges in doing this.

I've seen some 09+ dashes on eBay. I believe there is a HD one on there right now.

I'm not sure if wheelwell rust panels are available yet but that's a way to get the fenders to match.
