Hey Folks,

I just purchased a great used F150 4X4 and love it. The question I have is about a smooth black plastic module of something on top of the roof on the passenger side of the truck. It looks like something for a GPS or something. The dealer I purchased it from has no clue what it could be. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

It is the antenna for the satellite radio. The dealer should have known that.

 

It's like said above, the antenna for the Sirius Satelite radio. Your truck appearantly has it.

 

x3. Hit "Aux" on your radio and you will find the sat channels for the information on how to activate it if you wish to.

 

Once again.....its the sat radio antenna ......

 

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess it might be the satellite radio antenna???

 

Thanks for the help and I will have to replace the radio because it doesn't work. I checked power to it and it's good and will look for a nice aftermarket to replace it. I bought it from a Dodge dealership used and it's a great truck.
