Truck Recall?

Got a letter in the mail today stating there has been a recall on my 2004 f150 because they said there could be a defect in the airbags. Anyone else get this letter or hear about this?

It's not in the air bags, just a wire in the steering wheel that can get chaffed and cause the AB's not to work I believe. I just got the letter too. I'm the original owner, just hasn't been a high priority but I need to get it taken care of before they get tired of sending the letters.

If thats the recall about the wires under the steering wheel getting chafed, then I got the letter and had it taken care of about a year ago. Drove it in the parking lot, went inside and told them what I needed done, and a tech had it done about 5 minutes later.

You want that recall done...the airbag could deploy at any time otherwise.
