Future Project ideas:
New Head Unit (navi, dvd, ect)

If handy with woodworking, make a underseat storage unit for rear. I did mine and then covered the wood with black textured vynil, under $100 easy.

I lowered my '07 FX4 Flareside 2" for under $100.

Gott's Mod.

I also made a removable shelf unit that locks into recess on dash and gives us a "table top" for those nights at the Drive In Movies. (Hull's Drive In).

Tank of gas.. ha not much you can do with 100 dollars. Maybe some window smoke visors or floor mats.

Window tint is always my first mandatory mod.. for looks and function.
Exhaust? Intake Gotts Mod (modded intake tube and high flow filter)
Leveling kit?

I like aftermarket head units as well, I just hate replacing the stock one knowing I have a good working stock unit that looks best like it is.. not the small face extra space look with aftermarket and fit kit.

it already has the nice rubber f150 OEM floormats that were apparently never used!

i'm reading more about this GOTTS mod, is it really as great as everyone says? I might wait until i get through this tank of gas so i can compare milage.

I'm leaning toward the idea of the leveling kit for the front. I like the idea of the storage unit for under the seat. My dad is a master wood worker and has enough "scrap" laying around that I could head down there and build something, i really like that idea, thanks!

I was already thinking of darkening the tint on the rear two windows and slider. When i had my ranger 10+ years ago now, i had limo grade tint on it, man that was nice, minus the 3 tickets in 9 months for illegal tint

Not sure anything on your list will be under $100.00. Depends on what you want to do with it. I'd say window tint but even that might run over $100.00. Or maybe get a cable to get your Ipod hooked up. Add another zero to your limit and I'll give you a bunch of things to buy. Hope you like your new truck!

Tint your windows yourself. Granted the quality Llumar stuff in a pre-cut kit will cost a little over $100, its still an affordable DIY modification if you want to save big money on a $250 tint job.

I just picked up my truck last week and did the Gotts mod, and wanted to offer a suggestion or two regarding doing so.

Realize when you disconnect the battery to reset the ECU the vehicle will be in drive cycle mode, and may throw a P1000 code, essentially re-learning how to operate fuel trims.
I never got a CEL though.
The emission related sensors will also read not ready at this point
As a result I put up with frequent stalling, low idle, idle fluctuations.

This freaked me out as I thought I had damaged something in the process.
It might not be a bad idea to also clean your MAF with MAF specific cleaner and changing air filters before reinstalling everything.
I went ahead and pulled my TB and gave it a good cleaning as well.

My thoughts on Gotts mod are it should be good for a few ponies and 1-2 mpg.
This is yet unconfirmed but I can say throttle response is improved, and I like the throaty growl I now hear upon acceleration.

Oh and depending on what you buy a leveling kit is under 100 bucks, not including alignment anyway.

I've found the llumar online, and the same vendor has blackbox alpine ceramic
which their chart says is "best" for heat rejection. As I'm looking for the maximum heat
rejection while retaining good visibility, do you have a recommendation regarding the nano ceramic?
