noise by antenna side PLZ HELP!

Hello guys i have a question on my truck which is an 06 f150 supercrew limited. Having an issue with a noise that comes and goes so dont think its the window but could be wrong. Its almost sounds like a cable is loose or just flapping around under the antenna which i have check and seems like nothing is loose. Any ideas would be great thanks in advance!!

I have a similar noise and have yet to pinpoint it. It only comes from the area you describe while driving 70+ MPH, and sooner with a headwind. Volume **** on the radio cures it though.

This is where my noise is comin from. The wife found the source on a roast trip and pinpointed it to that POS rubber flap at the end of the cowl.

Plastic Cap at base of Antenna

My was the plastic cap at the base of the antenna. It happened to us on the way home one night at or around 65 to 70 mph and it was about 38 degrees outside. As "Stealth" mentioned we also had a pretty strong head/cross wind that night to.

You could tell it was loose as I could move it easily with my hand. All I did was just push it down as hard as I could toward the paint and it has yet to do it again.

Mine sounded like a big oak leaf was stuck and ~~~~viberating~~~~~ as the wind blew across it.

If the noise ever comes back I dont know what I'll do. Maybe place the soft side of some velcro under it or something.
