I'm reading this forum and have a question. I have the new body style manufactured in July 2004, My truck now has 114,000 flawless miles on it. Am I in this same category to replace my injectors? 5.4 3v. Thanks

 

Assuming your truck is a 2004, no. It was a bad batch of injectors that went into the 2005s. That is not to say that you can't have an injector go bad at anytime, anyone can, just like any other engine component. It just wouldn't be covered under the extended warranty.
