Got the Flares on!

In -18 no less. Too cold to wash the truck, once I do, I'll snap some good shots. Until then, here are some cell phone pics of a dirty truck.

Did you have them painted to match or can you order them like that?

I had them painted. There are sites you can order them pre painted, but I bought mine from a local mom n pop parts shop,

Thanks, no I had no flares. Was getting tired of rock chips and citations.

For the fronts, brackets screw into the factory fender retaining screws, and the flares are held onto the brackets with those tuflock pins, or plastic rivets, or whatever the hell they are. For the rears, its just 5 s clips on each side, clipped onto the wheel well, and the flares screw into those. For anyone thinking about installing them themselves, I'd recommend an extra pair of hands

well, ideally I'd lose the chrome and go with beige ones with fog lights. But these things cost money. Maybe I'll get em sprayed with color matched bed liner... I'm thinking I need a grille next, but not sure what would look decent in there

Would you keep the new grille your looking at in black or have it painted beige to match the trim? Maybe a Lariat grille, that would look good, if black, those Saleen grilles look mean as hell on these trucks.
