So true about the alignments. Since there has been a lot more "computer building" of vehicles" the more precise build and also "welded in alignment" with little or no provision for alignment has actually been to the advantage of the car buying public. Some people (probably a lot) don't realize that and still have their car aligned from time to time and don't realize the are paying mostly for guaging something that often has no provision for alignment other than toe adjustment. The still get charged for an alignment that for the most part isn't needed and (for the most part) isn't even possible.
