Bedliner on bumpers?

Anyone done this?

I'm thinking of taking the funky stock XL bumpers off my truck, scuffing them down, and cleaning them up, then hitting them with HercuLiner bedliner.

Thoughts?

Don't do it. It'll fade and get chalky, then it'll look like absolute garbage.

Don't use Herculiner.

If you are going to go for bedliner on your bumpers do it right with Line-X. Otherwise you'll be replacing it every year when it fades.

Many people have used Line-X on their bumpers and rocker panels.

Don't go cheap on bedliner. I learned that the hard way. Get the best you can which is probably line-x unless a local place around you has something better

I'm with all these folks--if you Herculiner, it will fade and look like the wiper cowls, bed caps and all the other plastic parts on our trucks within a year or two.
