A dumb a** question....

Alright guys, I think this question is stupid, but ill ask it anyway.
I have a 2006 f150 harley 4x4 on its way to Sweden. And there is one thing ive been wondering about. Can you select between all wheel drive and rear wheel drive?

take care fellas!

It is not "all wheel drive", it is 4 wheel drive and shouldn't be used on pavement unless there is snow covering it. It is for off road use. So yes, you can select either 2 or 4 wheel drive.

No, the Harley was available with all-wheel drive. There's only 2 positions on the **** - AWD and 4H. Rear wheel drive only is not available. 4H locks the center diff.

I don't think that's true because mine is a 2wd. Now, if there were no harleys made with 2wd - I would be flippin happy if my harley is equipped with 4x4 or AWD.

2006 Harleys came standard with 2wd, with AWD as an option. "Conventional" 4x4 was not available.

No.
You have an "All Wheel Drive" Harley Edition in which you can lock the center differential in the transfer case ... but NO lo range or 2wd operation. The front axle is allways engaged.

Apparently your question was not so dumb !!!!
But a Harley F150 in Sweden is cool. How about some pics of it in the Alps! Now that would make a good desktop wallpaper!

Congrats!

Haha apperenly not as dumb as I thought Yes Im really exited about getting it over here. I was aiming for a FX4 at first, but I found a harley with fewer miles on it. The choice was obvious Now I just have to save some money for 8" rize, tires, gears etc.
