Flareside Line-X PICS

Well I finally got the whole bed done.....inside and out!
Had the inside "over the rails" done a while back and they did the hooks too.

Yesterday I took it in for them to do the rear bumper and side steps on the bed along with the running board nerf bars. I was tired of loosing my footing when trying to get in and dew from the night before set in on the steps....slicker than snot. Not anymore, nice grip now and looks really good with the UV Coating which makes the line-x look shiny.

Total cost:
Bed, Rails Hooks = $650
Rear bumper, bed steps, running boards = $125

Man I love these flaresides, and this makes it a ton better, no plastic fading!

Might have to look into this... I just applied the Back to Black on all of mine yesterday, I'm sick of the fading.

Looks pretty good man. Might have to get mine done as well. I had some PTM mine but they are starting to look like crap but then again he didn't charge to much.

Oh man, that looks nice!

Mine's already Line-Xed inside, but if the plastic steps and rails get scratched or fade, I'll keep that in mind! If as grippy as mine is inside the bed (no reason for it not to be), that's gonna be an improvement in sure footedness and durability.

Was out looking at the truck today, Can't stop looking hahah!!

Its amazing how much this mod makes the truck look "newer" real sharp and the black line-x with gloss uv coating makes it look classy! LOVE it! Highly suggested!

I don't have a Flareside, but I think this would be awesome for my bed rails and rear bumper pad. How are they getting the Line-X to stick to the plastic?

They told me they are using a new plastic primer that teh company developed!? Not sure really, just what they told me.

I do know they clean it with ascetone first though.

Would you mind posting the contact info for your dealer? My local Line-X shop knew nothing of this.

I have a small fibreglass bodied trailer I tow sometimes behind or Gold Wing Trike, it was color matched but for some reason the PO had it "repainted" by some jack leg and after I bought it from him, a year later .... the paint popped and peeled in places on lid part. Estimate to clean off all old paint and repaint was as much as the trailer costs new, so I smoothed it and covered with some textured black vinyl from a roll, the stuff they make steps out of. Looks good, but you can see seams where I had to cut to form it. TYook it to Line-X and they said they could do whole lid of trailer $100. Leave the gripper grit out and use the UV stuff.

I need to get it up there soon.
