And as an added thought, when it comes to "capabilities" whether on or off road .... would not a 4X4 that's lowered still be as capable and even likely ... more capable than say .... a 2X4 that's equally lowered.

I think it would.

PS, I measured the blocks on the rear of my '07 FX4. The part that hits the bump stiop is only about 1-5/8 .... maybe 1-3/4" ... higher than the axle tube. The lift block itself is exactly 2" thick however. Removing the block drops rear 2" then on mine.

i didnt mean to **** anybody off its just like people buyen vetts and driven them like a grandma....to me it just dont make no sense....but ill keep my opinions to myself...good luck with ur truck.

You didn't .... it's just an opinion .... even if not a not a universal one.
