Question Are you sure ?

It would seem that acetone or hydrochloric acid would MELT the plastic.

LOL I WAS KIDDING ON THE HCL!!!! sorry Im a pre-med student.

Acetone is not a strong enough acid to melt the plastic. Put it on a q-tip and test it out.

Before you use a solvent, try to chip it off with something like a plastic razor blade.

They do have Super Glue remover, but I imagine anything strong enough to remove dried SG would eat a hole in the dash.

Here is what you need

This isn't the exact brand that I use on my model planes, but this is what you need to buy. Just go to your local hobby store, they should have some there.

I'd be careful with that stuff - it may do some nasty things to the dash.

Use nail polish remover. I got super glue on my glasses one time, used that stuff and it took it right off.

There are a couple concerns with acetone. One it WILL eat any sort of foam on contact. two, it may turn the dash white, or yellow,,, like bleach. I'm not sure about the discoloration.. But acetone,, which is nail polish remover,, eats it up perfectly well.
