I love my truck, but wish it was a 4x4. That would have saved me having from having to get pulled out several times...

too many problems with my 05. I just boughht a 2010 leftover Silverado LTZ 6.2L with the Max trailering package and this thing makes the 5.4L feel lke a 4 cyclinder. Love ths new truck.

So I have to say YES I wish I had gone Chevy sooner. If you haven't had the chance to drive a Silverado with the 6.2 in it you should. that is all

I wish i would of went with a 7.3L in the first place. I would be much happier with a diesel. Plus they are stronger and bigger.

Truck is for sale if anyone is interested. Just PM me

Bought my 04 Super Crew FX4 new in 2004. Still loving it! 140,000 miles now. I still get comments on my truck. I hope the new one's are just as good.

No regrets here. I love mine very much, gonna run the tires off of it. I had a '97 Ram 1500, I bought it with 67k and sold it with 170k. I replaced everything on that truck. Power wise it was a dog, only had 250 hp. When I bought my F150 I had gotten on the freeway and I was amazed at the power.

Again, you should have driven the 5.3L version if you want to compare it to the 5.4L. Also, did you drive the 6.2L 2011 F-150's do do a comparison?

My real issue with Ford was all the issue I went through with my truck - the last straw was when the tranny died at 66K miles. I have always driven GM cars, have two currently, and have a lot less issue with them. so no need fo rme to drive the 6.2 verison of the Ford.. I want something more reliable. Maybe I just had a bad apple but I will say the 2002 I use to own also shifted funny from 1st to 2nd. I had to go as far as to speak with the local factory rep reguarding this issue. He said there was no issue with the way it was shifting and that they all did this... even gave me a free extended warranty to make me feel better about it. I sold that truck when it had 56K miles. So no more Fords for me.

Suit yourself, but it sounds like you just had a bad apple. I've owned a GM (and had several family/friends with various GM products) and wasn't satisfied with the quality of the components at all. Mostly electrical issues with window motors/ignitions/gauges/etc. You're lucky if all of your gauges still operate in most '99+ chevy truck or suv since the majority loose the speedo or fuel gauge. I can't vouch for the 2010's, but until they figure it out for sure I'll stick with Ford for my trucks.

I had a Titan Crew Cab before I bought my Ford Crew Cab. I loved the space inside the TItan.. it is a limo compared to the F150 SCREW. I hate how when you fold up the seats in the Screw there is stuff mounted under them which gives you know room to put anything back there. The titan felt more like a truck... my f150 makes me feel like an old man. lol

My problem when I looked at the Titans was the cheap-looking interior. I was torn between the two, but went with the F150 after having seen the Lariat interior compared to the Titan's luxury interior. They were also another few grand more expensive, too. I was looking at the Pro-4X model and then read about the 4x4 axle issues they were having and decided to pass. I like their utili-trak system and bed-side storage though.
