Wow. Being an 04 w/ 222K, I wouldn't pay more than 5K for it. Like whitt91 said, too much road salt of the years can lead to major unknown problems. You could probably find a decent 06,07 for that price with half the miles.

Looks good for the mileage, but you just never know what might pop up. Have the plugs been changed? Does the rear window slider leak? Cam Phasers shot? All fluids and filters changed?? Just keep this in mind. I got a buddy with an '04 FX4 scab and he has close to 165K and it makes all kinds of funny sounds, this truck is a work truck and pulls hard. Be careful about this one, there are others out there.

I would avoid the first year 5.4 3 valve - especially with that many miles and having been a work truck.

Private party book on that is about $7000 in that condition.

You may like the NBS better, but the 03's were the most reliable years for any F-150 in recent history.

looks like its in decent condition. I think he's setting the price high to have people talk him down. I would see how low you can get him. Try for 6k if not I wouldn't bother.

5500-6000 would be doing okay if no major problems.

220K+?! I don't think I'd pay over 5K for it. It's on borrowed time as far as I'm concerned. I'd rather pay 5K for an older model with 70K less miles.

Over 220k mi's?!? I am impressed (ha, no knowing its history, but still!).
And agree with SoonerTruck....pay a little more for less miles. Your wallet will thank you in the long run.
