Don't throw away the stock muffler and tailpipe. Believe it or not, it's actually well made and doesn't rust out easily.

Oh, and the best gains in exhaust is cat-forward. High flow cats, shorty headers, etc.

Truck looks good, especially with the bed cover since it's been lifted.

So by far the worse day I have owned this truck -

This weekend my transfer case goes out - I install my new deck w/ a 528t relay and it for some reason does not want to click over so I had to re wire a few things. I end up using the ACC/ IGN instead of cranking it over while testing things out

well this morning I get ready to go to PT and battery is at 7.0 volts - tried to use my roommates truck to jump start and it wouldn't....eventually had to call 24 hour emergency service to come out and jump it which it worked right away.

called to make a claim on my extended warranty and dropped the truck off at Ammco - now I am driving a Ford Escort

So now waiting on a phone call tomorrow to figure out what is exactly wrong with the transfer case - if its mechanical or electronic - they still don't know why there is a humming nose at high speeds when i let off the gas - still no answer on that from another thread ...

Getting a little sticker crazy there... but a very nice outcome over this really short time of owning the truck. Awesome!

Bummer about the transfer case issue though, but such things are expected if it was as you quoted originally, never at all used when your father owned it. Can't just let stuff go non functioning. Hope its fixed real quickly!

I bought my truck when I was stationed in Florida. Being from Michigan I figured it would be a lot easier to find a 4x4 truck. But as soon as I got it the hubs wouldnt engage so the dealer fixed it. Im guessing the guy before me never used the 4x4 at all since it was an older man that owned it and probably just drove to the store and back.

Awesome Truck! Love the color scheme. You've got my twin, but with the 6.5ft bed. I'm also in Alaska, about 3 hours south of Anchorage.
