I pull a 32 foot toy hauler it's a KZ brand lite weight. 5500 pounds dry 8800 fully loaded with water and the Harleys. I have since added 5000 pound firestone rear air bags and a edge evo tuner. One thing I would look at if i were you is a good hitch set up. I went with a equalizer brand it has the sway control built into it and is a nice setup. I won't win any races and my next truck will be a super duty but i can't swing that payment right now. My F150 holds it's own and will do the job until the money tree sprouts.

I pull a 25' Crossroads Zinger travel camper... about 4800 dry and 6000 loaded.
I can get it most places north and south in Colorado without a problem, but I won't chance pulling it west over Vail pass. At 10,000' in altitude the truck really bogs down... I can pull my snowmobiles over the pass but I won't chance it with my camper.
A good weight distribution hitch (preferably with sway control) and trailer brake controller are a must.
