so i looked at angle iron today, 1/8th inch thick, if i get 1.25" bar i can fit it inside where they mount to the headlights, without cutting the headlights, is it worth it to get 1.5 inch angle iron and cut the top of the plastic on the housing?

do you think i can fit hella 500s by using this kind of mount? anyone mounted them to a vertical surface before?

 

today i got 1.25 inch angle iron 1/8 inch thick. then went to wallmart to get toothpaste and walked out with tooth paste and 500ffs. i cant believe they had them in stock. i remembered seeing them in there, but was betting they were going to be plain 500's. now i got everything i need for my light bar minus the 3 way switch.
