M/C works best in these engines IMO, modded or not.

But which motorcraft? On orielly website there is two different motorcrafts are the new motorcraft plugs one piece? Because I don't want to have to deal with the possibility of then breaking off again.

I believe the SP507 is a single platinum and the SP515 is a double platinum.

I did some more research the 507s is the original plug that came in our trucks off the assembly line the 515s are the revised plug that are double platinum. On advance auto website I can buy the 507s for $7.99 per plug which is $63.92 but I have a $20 off coupon so I can get them for $43.92 they don't have the 515s online and my coupon is only good for online purchases. I will be superchargering the truck around March so the 507s will be a cheap replacement till I get supercharged. What do you guys think?

I haven't done mine yet but am planning it in the very near future. I plan on using the SP-507 because they are cheaper and I will probably change them every 20 or 30k. I say they will be your cheapest option until you get supercharged. Don't you have to change them out again then?

Why would you not want to go with a plug that has performed flawlessly for 90,000 miles. Just replace them and keep on truckin.

I went with the Brisk one piece plugs. Have not had a problem with them yet... *knock on wood*

I had the dealership put them in when they pulled the old ones out. (Had them do it since my truck had high miles and I didnt want to break a plug or plugs off in the parking lot of my apartment complex). The dealership made me sign a form waving any liability if the plugs malfunctioned or missed since they weren't Motorcraft. But so far so go. And now Im not scared to change the plugs myself...

I am truly amazed that Ford/MotorCraft has not acknowleged this plug problem with a one piece plug of their own?.....Simply Amazed.....
