Mine loves the cold. Feels like it pulls harder and the trans stays nice and cool.

That whistle Matt is prolly the whistle these trucks get... mine has been doing it since it's that time of year

Gas mileage was a low of 15.2 last week Down from 18-19 from the summer. Running 93 btw

Trans shifting firmer and the TFT takes forever to climb when it's parked all day at school or the nights at work. My poor baby

My truck runs like a champ in the colder weather.. I see a little less MPG.. But when I hammer it you can definitely feel a difference.. Also no noises that I haven't heard before..

Oh am I so glad I did a remote start/alarm in my truck and my wifes truck a few months ago. No more "honey can you go start my car"!

Creaks and moans, oh yeah, she's a little creaky at first and tires fell like rocks for the first few miles. Idle high for the first few minutes and trans shifting a little tighter but I have a tuner so that is normal. Other than that it's all the same. Oh and a little lower on the gas mileage but not much.

You will never notice the difference between your precious Mobil 1 and the Motorcraft synthetic blend. It's not like the old days where there was a huge difference in cold flow between synthetic and dino.

Come to think of it, my '07 has quite a loud whistle from under the hood when it is cold.

My "04" did it and my "06" does it as well. I heard it quite a bit today as our temps stayed in the mid/hi 20's all day
