well the truck doesnt get driven often..usually sits until the weekends, because i have the work van to drive around...will probably take it out tomorrow after work and see what comes of it.

How many miles is on it? I assume the plugs and cops are original? Have you cleaned the MAF lately?

Mine has done this three times.....
Twice before the Gryphon
And once with it.....
Just shut the truck off....wait .....then restart ....problem gone....

Last time was two years ago....

Only 36k on it and yes all maintenance and cleaning have been performed....

about 54k on it...original plugs/cops, haven't touched the MAF..i could clean it, but i assume id throw a code if it was acting up...

Every time the fuel filter is to be changed(15k) I clean the MAF and TB also at that time.......

It's just a good way to remember when its done.....

ill try it out...couldnt hurt at this point. havent drove the truck today so i dont know if its still an issue. I'll try to get in it later...good excuse to get out of the house

2005 Injectors were supplied from a different company....in 2006 they switched back to the same company that supplied them for the 2004 5.4 3v.

Remember, if you have an oiled aftermarket air filter, that can foul the MAF.......
