F150 2wd w/ leveling kit...33" or 35" ?? any pics or comments will be helpful
I've got a 2wd with a 2.5 autospring leveling kit up front, and a factory 4x4 block in the rear. Tires are 285/65/18 nitto terra grapplers. Rims are the typical xd monsters 18x9 with -18 offset. Barely rubs the front valence, but its easy to trim and you cant tell I touched it. I also have the 4.6 with 3.55 gears, and the truck seems just fine to me.

The 35" tires are going to look very cramped, but if you are going to go with a higher lift in the future I would go ahead and get the 35" tires. If you plan on sticking with the leveling kit, I would get 33" tires
Everything I have read says if you do offroading then don't go with the 3" lift, but I do not offroad in this truck. This is my daily driver on the streets of Southern Cali. The truck is 12 years old and probably already could use new shocks and suspension. But thanks

Even if you replaced the entire front end, you'd still be going through parts quickly. 2.5" is really the max for these trucks.
How long have you had the 3" level?
But like I said, it's your truck and I was just trying to give a helpful opinion that the majority on this site would echo.
I wish you no trouble with the level. Your truck looks good. If you see issues, I'd really recommend a smaller spacer in the future if you have to replace parts.
35s on a 2wd
The time has finally come and im over riding on stock wheels and i need to make some decisions. I want to go with 20" XD Monsters and Nitto Mud Grapplers, but after seeing some pics I really want the 35's and dont mind trimming the inner fender. Should i be safe and go with 33's or go with the 35's and not look back if possible. Any pictures of 2wd f150's with 33's or 35's would help out a lot, and any other comments that will lead me in the right direction would be sweet such as rubbing issues and needed backspacing...
