How much did they quote you for the whole repaint of your truck? It is looking really awesome!

ill be about 20 grand in with all new mods and paint.

There is a flattening agent that can be added to single stage paint or to clear coat, but its trial and error . You need to experiment with it a bit till you find the finish your looking for. I hope the quote of 20 grand was what your into the truck for , not the paint job. I've worked in auto body, and worked on quite a few extremelly involved custom show vehicles that included painted sheetmetal interiors with pro street cage setups .Show winning finishes throughout, and The paint and labor has never seen that dollar figure. I know it adds up quick. I put 30 grand into a frame up build on a Jeep cj 7 years ago but that included a new drivetrain and completely new body with very few parts reused.

i thought 1200 to PTM my bumpers was expensive... i can't imagine repainting the whole truck, although I would not mind going with the 09/10 Blue flame metallic

I think that $1200 to PTM your bumpers is expensive... I want to PTM mine aswell. along with my handles ..

cant wait to see the final prod.. curious as to how certain parts are gonna look. like the PTM wiper cowl and other parts.. where your handles smooth , or were they the rough kind ? Im looking at PTM mine, but want it done right..

Mine were rough black plastic but all of my plastic will be 100% smooth and painted w marbleizing

Looking good man. Lets hope those tires dont kick up too much and ruin that paint job

Thats a big price sticker for some paint! But it does look pretty awesome so far.

I had my tailgate, rollpan & hood scoop done at 1200, there holding up well.
Remeber "You allways get what you pay for", and from what I can see, this job look vary good!
Money well spent IMHO

Saleen Hood, Painted inside and out and installed + picked up and delivered in my driveway $100. Tailgate , small dent repaired and repainted and chin spoiler repainted with chip guard added, together $160 ,Saleen rocker extensions painted $60, Tailgate spoiler painted $50. All smooth parts were colorsanded and buffed when needed .

This is not disrespectful in anyway. Or putting you down at all... but...

From the picture it doesnt look too matte... Cant see that big of a difference. Its probably the camera. Assembled and completed itll all pull together nicely probably. And if you really spent $20,000 with a family discount then I wanna know what you do for a living hahahaha.. I cant wait to see it done thoughhhh!
