Dealer tries to pull a fast one!

Ok, quick history:

I am the proud owner of a 2008 f150 FX2 Screw, 52346 miles on it. Im the original owner. about 2 months ago, noticed laggish/ slightly off power delivery pulling away from stoplights as well as non linear power delivery upon moderate acceleration away from a stop. I am meticulous with my truck and literally every trip I take I am listening and observing my truck. I also noticed about 1 month ago that my truck makes a very loud (audible from inside the cab, doors closed windows up) mechanical tick from ~700 rpm to 1100 rpm. hmmmm
So I hit the forums, check the vast amount of public knowledge out here, and find the infamous "cam phaser tick".
OK, pull up the TSB on it, follow the procedure... no noise when cold, no noise above 1200 rpm, makes noise when hot... all verify VCT phaser is shot or dying.

I am a college grad with very shallow pockets and a very nice truck that I maintain better then ford says. and I am near the end of my powertrain warranty. So I say, trip to the dealership!

Trip goes as follows:
email ahead of time, stating problem. I show up that morning, I take the service rep out, my truck is hot, I produce the noise, he says, ok, there is definitely a noise, how many miles? "52346", he says, o thats out of warranty. I say, pardon? 5 year 60000 on powertrain bud, and that noise is coming from the engine. He agrees, but says that his tech will have to diagnose it to verify. ok, well, thats $100 to diagnose, and if its not a warranty issue, then i pay. fine, i say.

6 hours later, call from the dealership.
"this is servide rep XXX, we took your truck to the heavyline guy, he said noise was normal and brought in another customer's truck and it made the same noise, so this is normal, your truck is ok.
" does a new truck make the same noise? do you have any 5.4 3 valve f150's on the lot? he says yes. i tell him to have one in the bay so i can hear a new truck make the same noise.
He also informs me that the shop formena came over and inspected my truck, and the service manager did as well, and that he had some information regardling my noise. I said ok, ill see you soon!

I get to the dealership, and they hand me this:

I was like, o...hmmm... O!!! hey wait, umm, why is the date whited out after the broadcast for that problem? you whited out the date on the subject and out of the first paragraph...

I break out my HTC evo and google the exact words of that paragraph, and lo and behold, it applies to 2009-2010 f150's.

the service rep looks at me blank faced and i ask him, did you print this out?
he says, i was given that by the shop foreman, mr XXX.

Is he here? "No, he went home for the day" ( he told me on the phone before i left that the guy would be there all day...)

I went to the bay where the new 2010 5.4 3 valve was and had the guy attempt to replicate the noise for 10 minutes, to no avail, he could not replicate the noise from my truck...

I said, I'll see you all on monday bright and early, including your shop foreman.

What do you all think??????

I figure they thought they could print that out, hand it to me and i would go, O, well seems like thats what mine does. bye thanks, heres your $100... and then when my Phasers do fail in 12000 more miles or whenever, out of warranty, then they get a nice fat repair out of me.

they didnt charge me anything for todays visit either, hmmmm. can you say, guilt?

really, wtf!?
