I like the purpose they serve. But personally I'm not a fan of how they look in most cases.

So my vote is NAY....

I vote nay. I've never like the way camper shells looked.

To tell the truth, neither have I. I was hoping someone would tell me it is awesome and convince me of the same. Either way, it is on ebay now....

I'm a YAY in a way.
I have the same top but mine has rear popout side windows. I intermittently take mine on and off as needed.
I think the truck looks better with it off but it has its uses.

I deer hunt in the fall so this time of year it stays on until January.

I really don't think it should have anything to do with looks.

I have one, I use it as I need it. They serve a great purpose. Far from a van.

Was this Thread just a creative way to plug your listing???

Just kidding...

I agree with you other guys though. If you've got the money to buy one and a use for it time to time then I could see having one. Just not to leave on all the time.

I put one on my truck as soon as I bought it but I need to haul all the stuff I can to my jobs that are hundreds of miles away. Right now I'm working 820 miles from home. I take stuff to minimally furnish an apt. and I try to not have to mess with uhaul. The only drawback in my opinion is rear visibility. I leave beach chairs and other stuff in the back locked up all of the time.

No, I posted this thread first, and only listed the item number after someone asked for it.

I was never a camper top/shell person either, but I really like the utility of mine. The positives outweigh the negatives for me. It's nice having the cover and security when hauling mountain bikes, or anything else I want to keep locked up and pretty much out of sight. It's great on trips and keeps the dog hair out of the cab!
