N-Fab light bar

Yes or no on my truck? Part of me wants to say no because it'll ruin the clean lines of my truck but the other part of me wants to say yes since the lights would be beneficial on the trails during hunting season and simply because they look great on some other trucks........ 07fx4silver's old truck to be exact .

I know it won't look right as of now since I'm pretty much stock but within the next two months it'll have a 6" Fabtech lift, 35" Toyo Open Country M/Ts and 20" Diamo 17K black/machined wheels.

I don't have an up-to-date pic but this one is close. The only things I have added since this pic is N-Fab steps and custom FX4 decals (dark shadow gray outline with no fill color). Keep in mind that it'll have the lift/tires/wheels also.

I definitely wouldn't want a pre-runner style bar. I believe he has the same one as 07fx4silver had which is this one:

You just pointed out one of the reasons I can't decide what to do....... the white FX4 grille. I definitely don't want to change the grille since very few actually have the PTM FX4 grille and it's one of the things that make my truck different but I'm not sure how the lightbar/lights would flow with it.

I had an FX2 grille (which is DSG) but the look never really grew on me.

I say yes because it will look good and because of your needs. I'll never own a truck without a set of auxilliary lights, long range(pencil beam), to be specific. Also run 4 of the same size light, otherwise it looks dumb I think. Keep it symmetrical.

Even though you didn't ask, I'd also say get 4 pencil beams. Outter 2 shining the ditches/tree lines and 2 middle ones down the road.

I have 3 Hella 4000 Euro Beams and 5 130watt KC's. Personally I find the Euro beams useless. I'll be trading them for pencil beams.

Also, I'd suggest going with the Randy Ellis Design light bar as it has a cleaner finish to it. The light tabs are on the backside of the bar as opposed to the front like the N-Fab.

I do like the light tabs on the back. I may make my own anyways...... we own a fab shop and I've got access to welders, power tools, press breaks, rollers, plasmas, a laser cutting system, etc.
