Cruise Control Light??

Dumb question...i got my truck a couple months ago and swore that there was a display light in the instrument cluster that lit up when the cruise control was on. The cruise control works fine, but now i noticed the light is gone. I guess my questin is, should there be a display light on my truck? It's an 08 FX4. Thanks, Brian.

Yes there is a light, your bulb probably just went out on you. I have to take my dash apart again this afternoon to switch the led around for my cruise light so I'll post a pic of which one it is. Bulb is a 74 btw.

The bulb for the cruise is the one I'm pointing at with the yellow prybar.

I have an 06 and the light does not work either and the cruise works fine. My light for the odomoter went out for a day at about 70K and came back on the next day and is still on with 125K presently. Is there a bulb for this also? Perhaps it's loose?
I did'nt realize that you could replace the bulbs? How difficult is this?

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

The odometer light is the gray holder on the bottom left of the picture. It is not difficult to access.

Unhook the battery.
Remove the panel below the steering wheel. 2 screws
Tilt the steering wheel all the way down and remove the gauge cluster dash panel. 2 screws
Remove the two wire harnesses on the cluster and remove the 4 screws holding it in.
Squeeze the two clips on the bottom of the gear indicator and remove.
Remove the 8? torx screws on the back of the cluster.
Twist the bulb holders out and replace bulbs as necessary.

You can also reference this thread, pg 1 near the bottom, https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...rior-leds.html for instructions. That is where I learned everything from when I changed my gauge bulbs to leds.
