Anyone else have times either from track or from programmer? Curious to see how far off gryphon is.

Well this truck is much lighter, has more mods and ran 0-60 somewhere around 8.5-9 seconds to runa 16.4

Fun with numbers

This may surprise you ...

Very rough approximation but it helps ...

My truck = ~5481lbs, 5.4 3valve, gryphon, 3.73 (Stock max bhp 300)
Theirs = ~5110lbs, 5.4 2 valve, UD pullies, intake, exhaust, 3.55, superchip. (Stock max bhp 260).

Still not saying the gryphon wasn't off, but I don't see how I am that far out. My chip with newer motor has to make up for some of what he has with his mods, the gears are going to help out the hole too.

Have you weighed yer truck lately, with all fluids and yer **** in the driver's seat? I think you'd be shocked to learn it weighs (a lot) more than 5481 lbs.

Torque numbers between the two are very close ( more important than HP at low speeds)

Gearing: 4:10's would help, but the difference between 3:55's and 3.73's is too small to count much.

Tuning - a little - both are predominantly just adding advance, - almost a wash for this kind of test.

Oh yeah - both have huge driveline losses ...

Yer likely in the 8-9 second range - depending on environmental factors, fuel quality (incipent knock will kill you by pulling timing), IAT's , available traction (tire compound, road surface), etc, etc...

Just sayin' .... and crap .. none of this 'OT' BS is helping the OP speaking of which, where'd he go???

pretty cool, with stock numbers it throws out a 8.7. Played around with some ratio's for a rough estimate of what my output would be at the flywheel since dyno charts are given at the wheels for gryphon results. Its a little hard to do this because the power curve between stock and level 3 are not linear. So I can do a difference between peak or max gain.

Peak delta results in ~15hp resulting in a 8.3
Max delta results in ~56hp resulting in a 7.5

Both of those times are slower than what it told me, so I will say it again, you guys are right its not 100% accurate.
