stuck in vent under driver seat
stuck in vent under driver seat
horrible...
everytime I start/stop... I hear something ROLLING under my seat. It sounds like it is directly under my seat, but nothing is there. I am now about 95% sure, something has fallen into the airvent under the driver seat. The airvent is the one that points towards the back of the truck.
I think something fell into it, and now I've got to figure out how to get it out. I stuck my hand in as far as I could, but need something to curve around. Any idea on how to get access to this?

Hanger? Pipe snake? Small child?
If you're feeling ambitious you could take the front seats out and access it that way. It would be a PIA but you could give the inside a good cleaning that way. I take the seats out of my vehicles about once a year and give the inside a good scrub. Amazing what you'll find down there. Maybe even install a piece of screen over the vent so this doesn't happen again.
